News of another communications breakthrough reaches your correspondent, deep in the mid-Suffolk countryside. We've had a new noticeboard put up near the centre of the village as the old one was getting a bit tatty and worn. You may think that this is not exactly big news, but it provides the one location where information can be placed which might be of interest to the population of our thriving metropolis in the absence of newspapers, radio and television stations.
I had noticed that two men were working on it as we drove past on Saturday afternoon, and so thought that it would be interesting to take a closer look at their handiwork. They've done a nice job, and it looks quite impressive in terms of the carpentry involved (not that I'm a good judge, but...).
It's amazing what you can find out by studying the contents of a village noticeboard though, and I was delighted to discover that... actually, let's save that for another time...
