You do realise that this is the job of the Chair, don't you? Of course, it isn't unheard of for a Secretary to take the 'top job', although why you'd want to, I don't know. After all, you don't want someone coming along, inspired by the spirit of Machiavelli, making you dependent upon them, do you?...The musings of a liberal and an internationalist, living in Suffolk's county town.
