I've had some really excellent news, in that Graham Watson (the Leader of the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats in Europe, ALDE) has agreed to speak at our Conference on Saturday, November 15th.Graham will add lustre to our discussions, given his reputation as one of the European Parliament's leading figures, and I am hoping that, despite his early slot, we'll get a good crowd in for his speech. He will also be taking questions, and given the importance of performing well in next year's European elections, I'm optimisitic that he will give our activists some food for thought.
